It wasn't a perfect plan. It wasn't financing or a secret formula. It was an accident — and the courage not to throw it away.
1999 — THE ORIGIN
It started with hands full of product and empty pockets.
In 1999, amid economic challenges and with the only capital being the desire to get ahead, Iliana Olivero began bottling cosmetics by hand and selling them as a white-label product. No lab. No team. Just constant work, curiosity, and a genuine passion for hair care.
By 2006, that wasn't enough. She wanted to understand why the products worked. She wanted to create her own. So began her journey in cosmetic formulation — and with it, the vision of something bigger: developing real solutions for Dominican hair.
She was preparing a hair mask.
Something went wrong.
What should have gone down the drain ended up being one of her first innovative products. That "mistake" — that moment anyone else would have ignored — was the start of a different offering in the market.
Since then, Morganna is not just about formulas. It is about paying attention to what no one else is seeing.
2013 — 2021 — THE BRAND TAKES SHAPE
Customer by customer. Fair by fair.
With dedication and perseverance, the brand grew at beauty fairs. Customers began to recognize the products by their quality and results — not because of advertising, but through firsthand experience. Word of mouth was the first distribution channel.
In 2013 came business independence. Then, in 2020, the pandemic put everything to the test. But something surprising happened: even in the most difficult moments, customers kept trusting. Kept buying. Kept caring for their hair.
That moment confirmed what we already knew: this was not a market trend. It was a real need, and Morganna was meeting it.
In 2021 the company was formalized as Cosmelab Belleza Ideal SRL. In 2022 the nanoplasty line launched and a new chapter of specialized professional training began.
2026 — THE NEXT CHAPTER
The essence never changed.
The scale did.
Today, Morganna is working to take the brand international — bringing beyond Dominican borders what began with hands full of product in 1999.
But the essence remains the same: create hair products with purpose, innovation, and love for the well-being of every person who chooses them.
